Kelly the clock is ticking. This is a family who was harmed by [Wells Fargo] who set them up to fail...
I got to speak to your wife today I realized. Have you communicated with Kelly Hansen on Linkedin and her website? She is fighting prose and has a lot of contacts for an emergency such as yours. I've copied Kelly Hansen. Kelly if anyone needs prayers and your TLC this family does. Wells Fargo setup an $11 tax bill so an enhanced broker could put a tax lien on the property.
Trusting souls when the Summons was delivered (served) they contacted the attorney for Plaintiff who intentionally mislead them not to replyhat it was a mistake and all they had to do was show up in 20 days...
Anyway I'm sure they can get a Cease & Decsist for being in a modification where payments were being taken and whamo the house was sold and they are in WI. 4/18 the end of the 90 days and unable to find an attorney to help.
Kind Regards,
Mary

Mary,
Have I got a story (very true, and very disturbing) about Wells Fargo for you.
Long story short:
Wife and I both laid off work. Fell behind mortgage. Entered foreclosure. Got a hold of Hope Now and they, in turn, got in touch with Wells Fargo to start modification process. Wells Fargo lost at least 5 different times multiple pages of my faxed documents, and yes, I had confirmation from the fax machine that they all went through. Wells Fargo even lost the contents of their own self-addressed FED-EX envelope they required me to use when sending in documentation. So after all that, FINALLY get accepted into the modification program. Pay our 1st installment, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th. All set now to recieve our final modification and be out of foreclosure! YEAH!!! WAIT! WAIT!
Flashback to 2007. Wells Fargo Escrow failed to pay my property taxes in full in 2007... short paid it by 258$. Why? THey had no idea, and no reason why they short paid it. But here in Wisconsin, if you don't pay your property tax in full... after 2 years the City of Milwaukee can TAKE YOUR TITLE!! Which they did. I called Wells Fargo, because I don't even SEE my tax bill until after it's paid. We are set up so WF pays it and sends us a receipt paid in full. WF took responsibility for losing the title, and started the process with the City of Milwaukee to get it back. While the City of Milwaukee had title to our house, WF came through with the final modification. After calling a few attorneys, they ALL said great. Too bad they can't offer you a modification and you can't sign a new mortgage agreement on this property because the title isn't clean, and WF nor you have any interest in the property. So we verbally accepted, faxed our acceptance, wrote a letter accepting, left messages accepting the modification PENDING the return of the title to us. Everyone at WF said yes, that is a plan... call me for the rest! Out of room!
